CONNECTIONS QUARTET (IT/US)
The internationally renowned vibraphonist Ed Saindon meets the virtuoso vibraphonist Giovanni Perin to give birth to a captivating musical project aimed at reinterpreting some of the best excerpts from the traditional American songbook completely rearranged for the occasion, also presenting some original pieces by the quartet.
Connections is the sum of the musical experiences of the two protagonists, intertwining jazz, Latin music and even-eights with more modern sounds, in a union that looks towards the future with optimism.
But more than styles in their music it is better to talk about colors: each arrangement is thought of as a musical framework in which the listener gets lost in a colorful palette of nuances.
