ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE (JP)
AKTI / Eye Vybe
After four years, the progenitor band of the rising sun psych rock, the Acid Mothers Temple, led by Kawabata Makoto, considered the Jimi Hendrix of Japan, returns to Argo.
Active since 1995, Acid Mothers Temple was originally a soul collective of musicians, dancers, artists, farmers, channelers, ex-yakuza, mermaid seekers and professional wanderers, and has always had a dedication to improvisation at the center of its mission. . Now, with a history spanning over two decades and a discography of over one hundred records, the group shows no sign of letting up in the rhythm of their creative energy.
Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso UFO are the most prominent embodiment of the collective, with founders Kawabata and Higashi, longtime member Tabata, as well as the newly recruited rhythm section of Sakamoto and Uchida joining the group in 2015.

THE WINSTONS (IT)
Sony / AMS
The Winstons are a power trio formed by Roberto Dell’Era (Afterhours), Enrico Gabrielli (Caliber 35) and Lino Gitto, dedicated to psychedelia and the cult of ancestral anarchy.
They made their debut in 2016 with the successful and acclaimed Canterburian album of the same name, which was followed by concerts, happenings and shamanism. This is followed by a forty-five laps in homage to English post punk and a “cultured” release with the revival of “Pictures At En Exhibition” by Modest Mussorgskij.
The second album “Smith”, released in 2019, is a lysergic shot halfway between the Hookworms, “Sgt. Pepper’s “and Ennio Morricone and hosts musicians from bands such as Bad Seed, Jet and Caravan. Their latest work is the EP “It’s Been A Long Day”, released last year.
